Web Developer at Seattle

Job Description

We are looking for web developer with the knowledge and skills in building highly interactive software interfaces.

We need somoene that is experienced front-end developer with expertise in responsive web UIs and AJAX-based interactive application development. You should have a solid background and understanding of best practices in the fundamentals of software development. You will collaborate with designers, domain experts, customers, and executives, through planning, design and development lifecycles

Basic Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a web developer or similar role.
• Proficiency using modern web development technologies and techniques, including JavaScript, AJAX, HTML5, CSS, Responsive Design, web services, etc.
• Experience developing AJAX interfaces with AJAX libraries and frameworks (e.g. DOJO, JQuery, etc.).
• Experience developing web-based user interfaces for a variety of platforms such as: mobile, desktop, and tablet.
• Solid understanding of software development methodologies and processes.
• Bachelors degree in software engineering, computer science, or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with MVC frameworks like Struts and Spring desired.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g. Perl, PHP, Ruby) desired.
• Understanding of web services technologies such as SOAP, HTTP, WSDL, XSD, and REST.
• Experience with SCRUM or Agile development.
• Experience as part of a User Experience or User Centered Design team.
• Experience participating in user research activities (e.g., usability studies, user interviews, contextual inquiry) is a strong plus.) is a strong plus.
