QA Engineer
Location: Seattle, WA

Twisted Pair is seeking an experienced QA Engineer to join our team in Seattle. We make apps used for critical communications around the globe. Our customers love our products.
What youll be doing
You will be working in an agile development team creating test cases, running test cases and developing automated tests. You will work closely with developers helping them write better code by focusing on a test first approach to Quality Assurance. You are constantly driving Quality into the development process working with the Product Owner and Development team.
Were looking for someone with deep experience in QA disciplines. Your goal is to help us ship software of proven quality that delights our customers.
Key responsibilities include:
Define and guide product testing processes
Plan, create and run functional, integration, performance and security tests
Design and build scripts to automate software deployments in our labs
Troubleshoot data and audio routing using Wireshark and other network tools
Work as part of an Agile development team
Qualifications
B.S./B.A. degree in Computer Science or related engineering field
5+ years professional QA experience shipping products with solid quality reputations
TCP/IP and UDP networking expertise
WireShark or other packet-sniffing tools expert
Expert in one or more scripting languages, Perl, Python, PowerShell, etc.
Experience with a Test First approach to software development
Agile development environment experience
Windows troubleshooting expert
QA Automation experience
Desired skills
Strong C#, Java and/or C/C++ coding skills
CCNA or CCNP certification
VoIP experience
Linux experience
