Job Description

Job Summary and Mission

As a director of business systems for CRM Marketing technology, you will design and implement the Digital CRM technology plans by working closely with key stakeholders within the organization. You will administer existing CRM Marketing program including systems, process and governance. You will ensure best practices and standards are used in implementation and ongoing operations of the CRM Marketing systems. You will also lead selection of CRM software and vendors to oversee new implementations and act as a liaison between the solution providers and various business teams impacted by implementing a new system. Additionally, you will oversee the business requests to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives. You will work with and maintain open communication with key stakeholders to coordinate and interface related activities with other functional areas. You will develop long-term CRM plans and solutions to elevate the customer experience and maximize all interaction points. You will also provide recommendations for investment and de-investment in CRM Marketing technologies and operations. You will act as champion for the CRM Marketing initiatives in the organization.

Leadership

Setting goals for the work group, developing organizational capability, and modeling how we work together:

Supports the implementation of company programs to ensure the success of the Company.

Planning and Execution

Developing strategic and operational plans for the work group, managing execution, and measuring results:

Prepares, communicates and educates client groups and team on changes in policies and practices within the organization

Plans and manages business unit and department processes and practices to ensure that programs are aligned with company business goals and objectives.

Develops business area strategic vision for systems and short- and long-term operating plans.

Builds relationships and collaborates with other functional areas to identify system integration opportunities and needs. Anticipates impact throughout the organization of changes to systems.

Ensures that systems projects meet expectations for quality, timeliness and cost-effectiveness.

Establishes technical standards and guidelines to ensure integrity of systems and compliance with company IT standards, policies and processes.

Manages and directs team to provide development and processes to support initiatives.

Develops and manages annual capital and expense budgets for systems support and new systems deployments.

Oversees the allocation of resources to both development projects and sustainment services.

Business Requirements

Providing functional expertise and executing functional responsibilities:

Builds partnerships within the business unit/department and with other functional and technical areas.- Establishes and manages departmental policies and procedures for system support and maintenance, Directs ongoing systems maintenance and user support to the business unit to ensure integrity and availability of systems to support business needs.

Directs project and program plan development and manages resource allocation in conjunction with other directors and executive management. Oversees global application systems development projects, works to remove barriers, and ensures compliance with project management best practices. Communicates status of systems initiatives to business unit and IT leadership and ensures that business requirements are met.

Oversees system documentation and training for users to ensure continued and correct use of the application and to roll out new applications, tools and procedures.

Ensures that service level agreements with business units are met.

Establishes the standards and guidelines for enterprise-wide systems.

Negotiates contracts with vendors, ensures contract compliance and manages ongoing relationship.

Provides global business infrastructure and support services to all locations. Delivers solutions and services by overseeing cross-functional development teams.

Develops global technology strategy and road maps for business.

Engineers and Re-engineers business processes and systems infrastructure to improve and enhance systems in support of business growth and development.

Stays current with technology trends, evaluates options against business requirements and makes recommendations to customers that improve business processes and systems.

Partner Development & Team Building

Providing partners with coaching, feedback, and developmental opportunities and building effective teams:

Challenges and inspires team members to achieve business results.

Conducts and ensures the completion of performance reviews.

Ensures partners adhere to legal and operational compliance requirements.

Skills & Qualifications:

Provides leadership, manages and advocates good measurement techniques. Minimum seven (7) years experience leading strategic and tactical initiatives.

Solid understanding of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) market and competition.

Develops strategic technology roadmap and implementation plans for large CRM Marketing programs (i.e, Starbucks Card and Loyalty).

Progressive experience implementing complex technology solutions (Oracle Siebel CRM platform is a plus) with large and global company

Ability to partner with the business to define and articulate Business Benefits and Costs

Collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to understand business needs and issues

Proven track record transforming and improving business processes in large organizations

Working across organizational boundaries at all levels

Superior communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent technology and business skills, strong decision making ability

Leadership of large, diverse and high caliber groups

Provides coaching and ensures training and development plans are created and executed

Ability to influence others in a positive way and handles difficult situations professionally

Highly collaborative approach and proven success building cross functional relationships

Experience with budget and financial management, overseeing department cost center
