Licensed Funeral Director at Yakima

Job Description

We currently have an opportunity available for a Licensed Funeral Director for our Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home in Yakima, Washington.

 

This employee is expected to work competently as a team member. Work with families to arrange funeral/memorial services, prepare paperwork and comply with all local, state, and federal regulations governing Funeral Homes and Funeral Providers.

Job Requirements

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assists with and is able to handle the preparation of remains.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred
  • Be required to direct/assist and/or coordinate funeral and interment services.
  • Ensure that all required paperwork is completed timely and accurately.
  • Possess a thorough knowledge and background in all facets of Funeral Service
  • Demonstrated confidence and ability of executing flawless service
  • Acute attention to detail with emphasis on innovation and creativity
  • Washington Funeral Director License
  • Must be able to achieve a JD Power score of 940 or above
  • Maintain necessary licensure and/or other certification to meet any local, state, or federal regulations. (applicant will be supervising an apprentice needing to have minimum of 2 years as licensed embalmer)
  • Maintain knowledge of applicable company policies and procedures, and ensure that they are carried out at all times.
