Job Classification: Contract NETWORK TEST ENGINEER -- SEATTLE, WA (6 Month Contract)DESCRIPTION**The Network Test Engineer should have a strong networking background that will allow us to author more complicated test cases for execution.**The Network Test Engineer will be responsible for creating test plans and test cases to test websites, and making sure that data is transferring correctly to mobile devices.**The Network Test Engineer must have extensive experience and a strong background in troubleshooting network connectivity issues, as they will be responsible for testing the flow of data from the UI to the back.QUALIFICATIONS**Strong Networking Background -- Proven experience troubleshooting network issues. Your strong networking background will allow us to author more complicated test cases for execution.**Cisco Certifications (desired not required)**Past work experience within Network Administration**Extremely strong Test Case authoring skills.**Candidates need to have a strong scripting skills (in any language)**Experience building test harnesses and test tools (Selenium, JUNIT)**Ability to code in an Object Oriented Language (Desired Advantage) -- Candidates will be tested on their understanding to code and write programs, and their ability to learn.**Strong debugging skills**Thorough Bug Reporting Experience -- finding bugs, tracking bugs, providing solid information for reproducing, coming up with bug reduction scenarios, prioritizing bugs**Experience working in an Agile Development model (preferred, not mandatory)**3-6 years professional experience working in a Network Testing or Network SDET role Join TEKsystems and get your career on the fast track.
