Job Classification: Contract This Systems Engineer primary responsibility will be to focus on weekly deployments and Incident Management. This team is very task oriented environment. Almost everything is automated and the team uses Powershell scripting to continue to automate processes in the systems they support. Must be a great troubleshooter and have general knowledge around AD architecture. About the team: This team is a part of the Cloud Services who focus on Cloud Identity.Required SkillsetStrong troubleshooting/ deployment skills on Windows OS (Server 2k8 R2), Active Directory, Hyper-V, Powershell, IIS and SQLGood communication skills to interact with other operations teams and dev/test teams.Able to handle high pressure and juggle multiple priorities effectivelyDay to day duties:-Work with developers and internal customers to triage and fix operational issues-Maintain a monthly upgrade/deployment and patching schedule while insuring high availability-Manage server hardware in multiple global data centers-Assist in the development and management of operating documentation-Administer and maintain global infrastructure with 2300+ Servers providing Active Directory for 10 million users.-Troubleshoot various tier 3 IIS web server issues.-Monitor servers and networks using SCOM, STX and Gomez and resolve issues as alerts arise-Triage Sev.1 incident escalations, investigate, troubleshoot and see to resolution.Non-Technical Skills: -Self Directed-Detail oriented-Work in a deadline intensive environment Join TEKsystems and get your career on the fast track.
