This position will be responsible for the Recruiter Learning and Leadership Development program within the Global Talent Acquisition organization. As a program manager, you will coordinate across multiple, global resource groups to successfully develop, deliver, and measure the effectiveness of all courses in the recruiter training and leadership development program. You will be responsible for effectively and efficiently managing the recruiter learning curriculum which consists of onboarding, advanced recruiter skills, and leadership development while ensuring the curricula fits the peculiar Amazon culture and supports an innovative, real time delivery approach for recruiters across the globe.
You will work closely with other program managers, trainers, global partners, HR, and with our global recruiting group to identify, prioritize, and deliver critical training curricula that addresses the learning and development needs of the global recruiting group. You will work to improve the effectiveness of classroom and virtual training programs, while expanding the use of Web Based Training in the curriculum.
To be successful in this role, you must have strong project management, training development, and influencing skills. You will be expected to leverage your expertise in adult learning principles, instructional design, and leadership development to craft the strategic vision and ensure the successful delivery of program goals. Responsibilities for this roll include:
- Own the strategic vision for recruiter learning and recruiter leadership development
- Own all aspects of recruiter onboarding including New Recruiter Training, launch plans and the Recruiter Toolkit.
- Own content management and logistics for competency-based recruiter training programs, including scheduling, classroom setup, facilitator preparation, and course evaluation
- Design, develop, and ensure successful delivery of the Recruiter Leadership Development Program
- Continuously assess opportunities to improve the training program and systematically resolve gaps in content, delivery, and retention
- Creatively use instructional design, adult learning theories, and eLearning technologies to enhance learning and engage learners through blended learning solutions
- Manage projects and processes in an entrepreneurial environment requiring strong multi-tasking abilities and tolerance for ambiguity
- Communicate effectively to sponsors and stakeholders and partner carefully with subject matter experts to drive results
- BA or BS degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field such as learning and development, adult learning, organizational development, or equivalent
- At least 6 years of work experience in program management, training development, human resources development, and/or project management
- Track record of operating independently, setting schedules, identifying priorities, and successfully delivering projects
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities
- Ability to influence and partner with different levels of the organization to achieve results
- Able to manage workflow with minimal oversight, in a fast-paced, frugal environment with multiple stakeholders and sometimes changing priorities
- Able to work well independently, with a team and across multiple teams to deliver results
- Masters Degree in a related discipline
- Group facilitation and content delivery skills
- Experience in the HR and/or Recruiting
- Experience developing and implementing Leadership Development programs
- Experience working with learning management systems, in particular Cornerstone
- Experience developing eLearning courseware using tools such as DITA, SCORM, Captivate, Frame Maker, Camtasia, Adobe Presenter/Illustrator, Dreamweaver
- Passion for the recruiting process
