Job Description
Summary:
The Analyst is a position that supports our evolving business strategy. Individuals will work closely with our Procurement team to identify opportunities for improving business processes. Analysts will lead projects driven by the needs of the business matched against an individuals skills and abilities. These are regular, full-time, salaried, positions and will report to the Procurement Manager for Processes & Systems.
Project Areas:
- Change Management
- Financial Analysis
- Purchasing Operations
- Process Optimization
- Master data analysis, development, and management
- ERP System implementation and maintenance
- Business Performance Reporting
Responsibilities:
- Strong understanding of general business processes, including principles, concepts and standards of procurement, inventory control and materials management.
- Ability to process vague, abstract verbal and written instructions to create and evaluate processes.
- Ability to develop rapport/credibility with diverse groups; must be comfortable interacting with senior management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills: general ability to express clearly and concisely ideas and concepts in written and oral form.
- Proven ability to work in project teams.
- Self motivated and able to work with little supervision.
- Ability to achieve results, sometimes under extreme time constraints.
- Proficient in MS-Office applications including: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Project.
Education and Experience:
- Education: Bachelors Degree in business, technical discipline or related field such as Supply Chain Management
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an analytical role. Experience in a manufacturing industry a plus.
