Description

In this role, you will schedule patients with providers using provider scheduling templates, and direct incoming calls to the clinic staff.

Work schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm; no weekends or evenings required.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or GED.

Experience: One-year of experience as a Medical Receptionist or clerical work preferred.

Licenses/Certificates/Registration: None.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required: Knowledge of medical terminology or willingness to learn.
Ability to:
Work effectively in a busy environment.
Exercise independent judgment and discretion.
Interact with patients, family members, and other callers in apleasant, courteous manner on the telephone.
Deal with difficult patients.
Prioritize, organize,and handle a variety of tasks simultaneously.
Work with frequent interruptions.

Bilingual skills are helpful (Russian, Spanish, Vietnamese, etc.).
