Consumer Products/Industrial Manufacturing Company is looking for:

 

POSITION: Continuous Improvement Engineer

LOCATION: Burlington Washington (35 miles outside of Everett WA)

SALARY: 60-70K (depending on experience)

DEGREE: Preferred

EXPERIENCE: 3+ Years in Continuous Improvement Engineering Experience

RELOCATION: Available

 

A 4 year engineering degree with a minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience with continuous improvement and lean manufacturing required. 

 

DESCRIPTION

Lead improvement projects and/or activities each year that deliver sustained run-rate savings

Refine the CI program over time to align with companies changing business strategy and to sustain results.

Ensure Operations CI resources deliver a minimum run-rate sustained savings

Partner with Operations leaders to develop annual CI Objectives Strategies and Plans OSPs and then to create revised quarterly plans based on the results and business needs.

Ensure proper communication methods are utilized to create a shared CI mindset across the organization and reinforce basic CI principles highlight Key Performance Indicators KPIs versus goals share best practices and celebrate individual/team successes.

Oversee the development of Operations CI resources across all facilities including training and development plans around CI tools strategies and techniques.

Coach Operations Leadership and hourly employees on the fundamentals of CI and build problem solving capabilities throughout the Operations organization.

In addition to the responsibilities listed above other duties may be assigned by your supervisor as dictated by business

necessity.
