They make the impossible, possible.The Technology Development Program - Network Operations is a college hire development program that provides the opportunity for participants to collaborate with project teams while gaining broad experience across the AT&T Network Operations organization. This program will allow you to gain the professional development and peer/leadership support that will help you jump start your career with AT&T.Being part of this program will help you build your technical, problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills to achieve real impact at a much earlier stage than many of your peers. It will also give you the ability to have plenty of networking opportunities that include key executive leadership sessions, business area and industry overview presentations, volunteer and social activities and Individual team member responsibilities.After the initial training, you will continue to showcase your skills on a variety of technical platforms, disciplines and strategic project areas and support key strategic initiatives across Network Operations. Specifically, as a Sr Specialist -Network Support, you will be responsible for the less complex tasks required in the testing and analysis of all elements of the network facilities (e.g., power, communication machinery, software, lines, modems, and terminals). Assists and supports other employees in the Network Operations Center/Technical Assistance Center as initial fault isolation support for internal and external customers. Key Roles and Responsibilities: Opens, updates, and closes trouble tickets as required to track progress of trouble resolution. Assists with network configuration/reconfiguration. Assists in the collection of customer requested data such as traffic reports as needed. Assists in the rapid assessment of both the nature and severity of customer problems and initiates calls to various support organizations as needed. Maintains documentation of daily operations.Desired Skills/Educations: Engineering or computer science experience. Excellent problem solving and analysis skills. Excellent PC and communication skillsEngineering or computer science experience.


Required Qualifications -
  • 1-3 years experience
  • CISCO and CCNA Certifications
  • 6-Sigma White, Yellow
Desired Qualifications -
  • BS in technical disciplines, such as Engineering, Computer Sciences, and Operations
  • Knowledge of Network Planning, Engineering, Construction and Mobility architectures
  • Knowledge of OSI Layer 3
  • Project Management skills
  • Software testing skills
  • Technical writing skills
  • PM certifications
  • Knowledge of order management and customer install
