Catholic Health Initiatives National Office inTacoma, Washington currently has an opportunity for a full time paralegal to support the legal department. Catholic Health Initiatives is a national nonprofit health care organization operating in 20 states. The position provides support to the legal function inTacoma which in turn will support all strategic priorities. It is anticipated the paralegal will provide support to the MBOs Corporate Counsel by preparing contracts and documents, researching state andfederal law, maintaining legal data systems, and coordinating outside legal counsel and work flow. This position may also provide support to the MBO OperationsTeam, coordinating executive project requests and assisting the team to meet strategic objectives regarding legal and corporate compliance, as well as policies and procedures.The operations of the company involve discretion and require the same kind of confidentiality as a law firm.Job Requirements
Education / Accreditation / Licensure (required & preferred): Associates degree or equivalent experience required. Paralegal accreditation/certification is beneficial but not required.Experience (required and preferred):Five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
