Job Description
Classification: General Office ClerkCompensation: $12.35 to $14.30 per hour
A Seattle company is looking for a temporary general office assistant. Job duties will include, but are not limited to: open and distribute mail, send out mailings, copy, print, and scan documents as requested, coordinate sending out larger jobs, print tabs for project files, comb and wire bind documents, order and stock office supply rooms, order and arrange furniture requests and workspace adjustments, download digital pictures, create CDs and DVDs with labels, prepare workstations for new employees, assist with various projects, assist with employee internal moves, maintain inventory of offsite storage facility, clean refrigerators monthly, prepare coffee/water for conferences, coordinate/set-up conference rooms for meetings, provide back-up reception, answer multi-line phones, greet clients, filing, and other general office projects that come up. Ideal candidate will be able ble to multi-task, work under pressure to meet deadlines, have previous customer service experience, have previous copy/print experience and be able to use/learn software for Xerox machines, be detail-oriented and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Job requires person to walk around a lot and lift up to 20 lbs.
