System Analyst - IIS, SQL, Windows at Redmond

Volt Workforce Solutions has a position open for a System Analyst - IIS for our Redmond, WA Software Manufacturing Client. This role works with the Engineering Support team for Web Infrastructure providing Technical and Operational Help Desk Support specifically for their Web Operations team. Engineering support performs troubleshooting for applications and systems and provides Sr. Level Technical Support for project activities directly related to the Software Development Web Infrastructure, including IIS Servers and associated Hosted Applications. Engineering support maintains infrastructure configuration standards and provides troubleshooting support for "Services" requests created by hardware monitoring and software related utilities such as Server and Network Management Tools.

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with the Software Development Engineers team on re-occurring tasks including, but not limited to: Software Development site monitoring, troubleshooting and capacity management.
• Provide technical knowledge and systems planning support to meet agreed upon availability and uptime requirements.
• Reasonably assist the Software Development System Engineering team in its coordinating and resolution of complex systems issues.
• Proactively handle troubleshooting, resolution and escalation of Software Development site and service issues, and software problems that may affect Software Development operations that could not be resolved by the Tier 1 or 2 Support Help Desk.
• Assist the Operations team in driving automation of routine tasks by leveraging technology available within and outside of the company and agreed upon by the FTE Manager:
• Proactively handle troubleshooting, resolution and escalation of Software Development site and service issues, and software problems that may affect Software Development operations that could not be resolved by the Tier 1 or 2 support help desk
• Responsible for updating and maintaining TSGs, SOPs for Tier 1 & Deployment Documentation
• Troubleshooting Documents for T1 and T2 - Creation and Maintenance
• Active participation in Outage post mortem, Service scorecard and other QOS efforts
• Responsible for problem management activities, improving existing process and acting as escalation point for System Analyst 2
• Responsible for assigned project based work, which may include:
  • Planning, Implementation, Deployment, Process Creation, KB creation, and function as KB/Document approval path for Tier 2:
  • Participate in on call rotation 24/7 for production support
  • Interact with PG for product bugs/DCRs/feedback

Job Requirements

Systems Analyst Qualifications:

• Systems Analyst and Technical Support experience
• IIS 6 or IIS 7
• SQL
• Windows 2003, 2008 and higher
• Bonus Skill: Scripting
