Carlyle Care Center, a 151-bed assisted living facility,specializes in the care of mentally ill adults.Services provided include:assistance with activities of daily living, medication assistance,meals, housekeeping, laundry, appointment coordination, and recreationalactivities.

GENERAL SUMMARY

This active position works both independently and as a team toensure the residents dietary needs and the facilitys safety and sanitationneeds are met. Join our team! Use your institutional cooking experience andorganizational skills to improve our facility and our residents lives.

Job Requirements

MINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS

• Applicant must be able to successfully pass a Washington State DSHS background check.

• This position is performed in a standing and walking position, with sitting only performed during breaks and at lunch. There is frequent lifting of items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds required. There is constant handling, grasping, and reaching at all ranges of motion performed in this position.

• Must have 2-4 years cooking experience- institutional cooking experience preferred. Working knowledge of dietary needs and requirements required.

• High school diploma/GED and current Food Handlers card are required.
