Job Description
The Sr. New Technology Product Development Engineer (Product Realization) will work within the CTO organization as a member of the Radio Access and Device team and have the responsibility for new product development and lifecycle within consumer and enterprise for small cells and femtocells.This position requires the ability to lead multiple new product development requirements through product development process from conception to launch and provide on-going support throughout product lifecycle.
Specific responsibilities include: developing requirements, participating in development and validation of technical design options against the business need, managing project scope, schedule, and budget, and identifying and mitigating risks across all aspects of the project.

Manage and lead small cell products and applications through product development process from conception to launch and provide on-going support throughout product lifecycle.
Work closely with marketing offers team and in conjunction with a large complex cross functional support teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and successfully meet objectives.
Provide direct support of the business markets group goal to accelerate the mass adoption of small cell and extend AT&Ts industry-leading position in the delivery of data integrated services.
Anticipate problems, complications, roadblocks, or issues that may impact the successful execution of the project plan; and identify and implement solutions to resolve.
Provide regular communication on project status to cross functional groups and management teams.
Position Qualifications:
Proven large scale program management skills - including project planning, project management, business case development and analysis, long term tactical roadmap and release management and planning.
Track record of continual delivery of products on time and on budget.
Must posses a high degree of influence and ability to impact team performance of cross functional groups, subordinates, peers, and senior management; including the ability to gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations.
Previous experience in managing vendors.
Requires 5+ years related experience, strong written and presentation skills.
Strong Product Development, project management and organizational skills
Ideal candidate is familiar with the telecommunications industry, wireless communications, and enterprise messaging applications.
B.A. or B.S. degree required, MBA a plus.
