Robert Half Technology is currently recruiting for a Front-end Developer for an organization that empowers educators with tools and resources to support the successful integration of technology and 21st Century skills development into standards-based curriculum and classroom practice. This company is focused on the meaningful integration of technology to enhance learning and supports systemic school improvement processes.We are seeking a Front-end Engineer to build the pages that are visited by millions of students and teachers throughout the school year. You will have the opportunity to work with a rock-solid engineering team and cutting-edge web technologies.Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience building pages to work in a wide range of browsers, including mobile. You should be independently driven, being resourceful to deliver results with minimal direction, and be willing to work in a highly iterative environment where designs may change multiple times a day. Candidates should also have experience working with design team members, extracting assets from Photoshop files, and working within the design iteration process.

Job Requirements

Design, develop, and maintain front-end markup and code for new teacher/student collaboration siteWork with operations, QA, and product management to maximize product effectiveness.MUST HAVE experience with:Building pixel-perfect user interface with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQueryA plus:KnockoutJS JavaScript frameworkWorking on high profile / high traffic sitesUnderstanding of MVC design patternsAgile and Waterfall methodologies
