Staffing Specialist at Seattle

Job Description

Job Classification: Direct Hire

The Staffing Specialist will join a team of professionals working in a fast- paced, team environment as part of the Program Office supporting the acquisition and management of contingent labor assignments. Successful candidates will be eager to learn, come into the position with a positive attitude, and have great customer service skills.Daily Responsibilities:- Assist client managers during all stages of the contract labor acquisition (hiring) process including: request creation in a web-based workforce management tool, qualification of request, review of submitted candidates, interview scheduling and follow-up, and on-boarding requirements - Manage and ensure quality performance of participating staffing vendors - Liaison with client managers, vendors to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed and collected prior to starting assignment and at end of assignment - Assist client managers with extension of contract assignments - Ensure all assignments are ended appropriately in the system when notified of an end of assignment - Assist with the collection of company assets from vendors (laptop, badges, etc.) - Assist in collection of contractor hours and approval of time by hiring managers - Conduct analysis, investigations, and resolve clients inquiries as needed - Provide periodic program status reports to leadership as required General Responsibilities:- Provide day-to-day helpdesk support speaking with client hiring managers and vendor recruiting companies. - Document all client and vendor activity and issue resolution from identification through completion ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction - Constant interaction via email and phone with client, staffing vendors, contract personnel and other partners - Ensures successful achievement of service level agreements (performance metrics)Skills:- Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Ability to work in a dynamic environment that changes from day to day - Excellent analytical and problem solving skills required - Excellent documentation and follow-up skills required - Strong organization skills and attention to detail - Knowledge of MS Office and PC skills - Able to work independently - Customer focusedEducation and Experience:- 1-4 Staffing/Recruiting/HR experience preferred - College degree or higher education preferred - VMS system software experience a plus
