Job Description

Information Systems Project Lead Washington Animal Disease Diagnostic Lab, College of Veterinary Medicine This is full-time, temporary position with the IT group at WADDL, a nationally known Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory in Pullman, WA. Duties include: assisting with design and development of web-based database driven applications to support the Laboratorys Information Management System (LIMS); provide secure web-based access to client results; enable automated messaging from LIMS to the multiple national animal health surveillance networks; user application support; and limited system administration. Proficiency in PHP, Perl, SQL, XML and knowledge of the Unix operating system are necessary. Some knowledge of life sciences and medical terminology will be helpful.
