The person will be responsible for Client Side web development. Design, develop, troubleshoot, and implement software code for cutting edge website applications. Work with graphic designers and other members of a project team to develop the site concept, interface design, and architecture of the website. Responsible for interface implementation. Integrates web applications with application tier or with backend databases. Develops large web-based transaction systems using application servers. Researches, tests, builds, and coordinates the integration of new products per production and client requirements. Requires strong navigation and site-design instincts. Researches new technology available, recommends technical and architectural improvements.
** Web Developer, Senior (Backend)
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
- Consult with users and develop business relationships and integrate activities with other IT departments to ensure successful implementation and support project efforts.
- May lead small projects or regularly coach other project personnel to ensure business application systems are developed in a way that complies with architectural standards and established methodologies and practices.
- Monitor and report to management on the status of projects.
- Foster and maintain good relationships with customers and IT colleagues.
Job Requirements
- Normally requires BS Degree or equivalent work experience
- A minimum of 5+ years of directly related experience.
- Experiencedeveloping in large-scale, enterprise level applications.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful API services
- Expertise in C# and the .NET Framework with a strong knowledge of web services
Skills:
- Visual Studio 2012, C# & .NET 4.5
- Knowledge of HTTP, SSL, XML, SOAP, REST
- CSS, HTML5, SQL Server, ASP.NET MVC4, ASP.NET Web API
- Knowledge of MEF, WPF, Prism, WCF, WinForms, Linq, JSON, Silverlight, AngularJS
- Good knowledge of software development best practices, including MVC, data modeling, OO, etc.
- Fluent in multiple application development languages to an expert level
- Experience with various computer platforms and application environments
- Expertise with developing multiple tiers of multi-tiered software applications
- Expertise in designing programs and applications
- Experience designing application systems
- Constantly updating technical knowledge and skills and mentoring others as needed
- Strong organizational or Project Management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
