Site Manger - Educare We have an exciting opportunity for a Site Manger to lead the fast-paced operational duties of a busy Head Start and Early Head Start facility! Duties include managing the delivery of comprehensive and multi-disciplinary Head Start, Early Head Start, and Educare services; providing operational leadership and educational support; overseeing childcare subsidy activities. The position is based in White Center and is part of our innovative Educare of Greater Seattle Program and provides services to children and families in the multi-cultural communities of White Center and Burien. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to impact the lives of Washington children. The PSESD serves 35 school districts and more than 200 private schools in King and Pierce counties plus Bainbridge Island in Kitsap County. Approximately 38 percent of the states K-12 public school students are impacted by our work and several of our programs serve students throughout the state. Qualifications BA Degree in Early Childhood Education, Social Services, Health Administration, or related field with at least 10 college quarter credits in ECE (AA degree and progressively responsible job-related experience may substitute for BA). Experience overseeing or managing a multi-disciplinary full-day early childhood/family support program, which relies on a variety of financial resources including childcare subsidies. Other: Experience in a Head Start and/or ECEAP Program; experience working with families, staff, and/or community members of diverse backgrounds; Experience coaching and/or providing technical assistance; experience with full-day childcare and managing childcare subsidies; experience with operations/facilities management. Position located in White Center, Washington. Schedule: FT, year round. Salary: $62,221 - $70,397/year, DOE. Excellent benefit/ retirement package.
