Job Classification: Contract Our client in Bothell, WA is looking for a contract Software Localization Engineer to become the newest member of the new product development team. The Software Localization Engineer will be will be responsible for local language software development in support of our latest medical devices. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:-Define and design software based keyboards and input method editors to support non-Latin character input-Coordinate with translators for translation and in-context validation-Participate in requirements definition through preliminary and detailed design, coding, testing and integration-Develop and maintain software specifications and related technical documentationRequired Qualifications:-BSCS, BSEE, or equivalent technical degree required-3+ years experience developing application software -Experience with software localization/input method editors -Strong technical foundation in C/C++ in a Linux environment-Experience designing GUIs-Experience with object-oriented analysis, design and development-Strong verbal and written communication skillsPreferred Qualifications: - Masters degree preferred-5+ years developing medical products-Experience designing medical devices under FDA, IEC, and ISO regulations and guidelines
