Job Summary and MissionThis job contributes to Starbucks success through consulting, identifying and delivering learning and development solutions for specific
client groups that will result in enhanced capability and performance. The learning business partner identifies, articulates and champions the
talent development needs of the assigned client group and works with key stakeholders to develop the annual people plan. Models and
acts in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles.
Summary of Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Consults with stakeholders on training and development implications of potential business decisions.
- Responsible for measurement and evaluation of learning solutions to ensure they meet or improve upon business objectives.
- Establishes and refines training plans for designated client groups to meet performance gaps.
- Manages, markets, conducts and facilitates the delivery of training programs and processes.
- Supports assigned business units in implementation of learning solutions and ensures consistency, accuracy and quality of training.
- Performs gap analysis between current performance and business goals and requirements.
- Ensures alignment between enterprise learning and development strategies and business unit-specific strategy

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and online meeting technologies
- Ability to work within large collaborative organizations
- Project management skills, including measurement, reporting and financial analysis
- Ability to influence formally and informally to achieve results
- Ability to manage budgets
- Ability to delegate
- Ability to partner with business leaders and stakeholders in developing strategic plans
- Business knowledge
- Knowledge and ability to apply process improvement principles
- Knowledge of adult learning principles
- Strong communication skills, including written, verbal and active listening skills
