Assistant Teacher, Educare We invite highly qualified Assistant Teachers to join our team of educators and work in a strong collaborative partnership with the Lead Teacher and Classroom Aide. Job Duties include: Responsible for designing and leading childrens learning, documenting childrens outcomes, and working with families. Schedule: FT, year round. Minimum $14.47/hr., DOE. The PSESD serves 35 school districts and more than 200 private schools in King and Pierce counties plus Bainbridge Island in Kitsap County. Approximately 38 percent of the states K-12 public school students are impacted by our work and several of our programs serve students throughout the state. Qualifications AA degree in Early Childhood Education and job-related experience. (AA degree in related field with 12 college credits in ECE, or AA degree in unrelated field and 19 credits in ECE may substitute for AA in ECE.) ** Unofficial transcripts required as part of complete application.
