Classification: Software Engineer

Compensation: $80,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year

Robert Half Technology is recruiting for a highly skilled .NET developer with a strong background in building scalable, predictable, high-quality and high-performance web applications on the Microsoft technology stack.Responsibilities:Build new applications with .NET 4.0 / ASP.NET / VB.NET / C# / SQL Server 2008 Develop new functionality on existing software products.Participate in a small, experienced, energetic team on a rapid, agile development schedule.All other responsibilities as assignedSkills / Attributes Required:3-6 years of SW Development experience (lead developer would be a plus).3+ years experience with ASP.NET/VB.NET/C#/WCF.2+ years working with SQL Server Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and computer science foundations, such as memory management and low-level algorithm performance.Deep knowledge of the .NET 3.5/4.0 Framework, including Visual Studio 2008, VB.NET, ASP.NET, and ADO.NET.Strong knowledge of software implementation best practices.Strong experience designing and working with n-tier architectures (UI, Business Logic Layer, Data Access Layer) along with some experience with service-oriented architectures (SOA).Ability to design and optimize SQL Server 2008 stored procedures.Experience with JQuery or similar technologies.Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software is necessary.Education:Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related area is preferred.Microsoft certifications are a plus.If you are interested in this role, please email your resume to [Click Here to Email Your Resum]
