Java UI Engineer at Bellevue

Job Description

Our client, a pioneer in the CRM industry is currently looking for a skilled Java UI Engineer to join a growing team that will be responsible for design, development, and implementation of Java based web applications using application server technologies, relational databases, HTML/XML, Javascript and Java Server Pages. You will be responsible for the graphical user interface design, UI navigation, underlying JSP pages, Javascript, CSS and Java classes for the web based application modules.You will gather requirements, write functional specifications, design, code, test, and implement the web based application modules. You will work with application users and engineering to implement user-centered design specifications in a highly robust and scalable product.Job Responsibilities/Duties:

• Design, development, and implementation of Java based web applications
• UI development, working in conjunction with design teams

Job Requirements

Java UI EngineerQualifications:

• 5+ years of Java based software development
• 3+ years experience in designing configurable and extensible web-based UI modules
• 2+ years experience with web application framework such as Spring, Hibernate, Struts 2, or Maven.
• 2+ years experience integrating/developing a Java based Reporting/Analytics packages using graphing and charting libraries
• 2+ years experience in CSS, HTML, JavaScript and jQuery
• 2+ years experience in creating interactive web applications using AJAX
• Experience in developing and implementing the UI for a commercial Web-based software project, including gathering requirements, writing functional specifications, designing, coding, testing, and implementing.

Education:

• BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
