Yoh has a contract-to-hire opportunity for a Pre-Authorization Coordinator to join our client in Vancouver, WA.

Job Overview:

Our client is currently seeking a qualified candidate to work as a Pre-Authorization Coordinator in a health plan setting. This is a full-time contract to hire position.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manages complex referral and preauthorization requests, determines course of action to be taken.
• Collects, assesses, and analyzes clinical data within the scope of practice as it relates to utilization management and the preauthorization process.
• Ensures all encounters, preauthorization requests, and provider / member information is appropriately documented in the required format and database.

Job Qualifications:

• Washington State LPN license is required.
• Three to five (3-5) years of clinical experience is required.
• Minimum of two (2) years experience with prior authorization, precertification, or referrals is required.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and word processing.
