Unified Communications & Colaboration Sales Engineer at Seattle

Job Description

Responsibilities

Proactively identify, engage in, and drive strategic solution sales based on targeted customer lists and up-sell opportunities. Drive corporate revenue via direct sales engagement focused on Verizons strategic Emerging Technologies product suite. Maintain a comprehensive and current knowledge specifically focused on the Unified Communications and Collaboration and Contact Center product sets including hosted services such that you are recognized as a subject matter expert (SME) in this area. The position involves selling, in a sales overlay environment, communications, video, VoIP and Contact Center solutions . The responsibilities include pre-sales analysis of customer requirements, determination of integration requirements to existing customer systems, and presentation of customer solutions. Additionally, provide in depth sales support for Verizon Unified Communications and Collaboration Products and Services as part of the overall customer solution. Customer elements involved in the needs assessment will include PBX infrastructure, messaging/collaboration platforms, conferencing (audio/video/net) services, ACD/IVR, Contact Center services and toll free solutions.

Required Skills & Experience:

Proven ability to translate customer business requirements into technology based solutions.

Strong communication skills to collaborate with customers and internal cross-functional organizations.

Five to seven years experience selling unified communications and collaboration services, systems and solutions.

Experience selling contact center and managed services capabilities in conjunction with unified communications technologies.

Background providing sales input to proposals in response to RFIs and RFPs.

Experience selling in a team environment working with internal organizations and external alliance partners to build comprehensive solutions.

Capacity to learn the technologies and capabilities associated with the Managed Services and Contact Center portfolios and use the expanded competency to build broader solutions.

Candidate must be a team player, who is self-motivated, organized and pays strict attention to detail

Job Requirements

BS/BA degree or Masters degree is highly preferred. Direct and successful unified communications and collaboration sales experience with responsibility for product sales and revenue growth is required. Additional qualifications include excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills and the ability to negotiate with large customers. Candidate must have the ability to travel within assigned sales territory or outside sales territory as may be required. Preferred individual would have a systems integrator background in a relevant technology related field.
