Web Developer

Seattle, WA

Duration:

6 months (Possibility to convert into FTE)

Job Description/ Responsibilities/ Day to Day Activities:

• Elegantly implement page designs in standards-compliant dynamic HTML and CSS.
• Implement functionality in JavaScript/jQuery, JSP/Java, Mason/Perl.
• Collaborate with the design team to define the information architecture, advocating Web interaction design best practices with a focus on consistency and usability.
• Work closely with back-end developers to find ways to push the limits of existing Web technology in service of creating the best possible user experience.
• Interaction with UX team and business users.
• Some maintenance/updates to existing sites

Job Requirements

Required Skills:

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong Web Development and Design experience.
• Experitse with HTML, CSS and Javascript.
• Ability to convert photoshop design into semantic HTML templates.
• Experience with Perl, PHP or other server-side scripting languages.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.
• Strong web application design skills, including information architecture, interface design and visual design.
• User Interface design and diagramming.
