Manager, Health and Safety

Develops and implements safety policies, programs and procedures specific to their site that comply with all federal, state and local regulations. Conduct periodic audits and inspections and report results to ensure compliance with company policies. Works with site managers to ensure the implementation of the 5 Star Safety program, reviewing and recommending changes to construction and process operation project plans to assess potential safety risks to employees, with particular attention to potential exposures to hazardous materials. Initiate, develop and deliver new programs where needed. Investigate all accidents and incidents and assure follow-up measures are implemented. Keeps current on safety regulations, accepted standards and reporting requirements.

Must have good communication and writing skills.

Must be able to multi-task.

Basic Qualifications:

HS Diploma and 10 years experience with managing people and projects in Health and Safety.

Preferred Qualifications:

BS Degree
