Position:
Maintenance Mechanic
Full-time Hourly

Location:
ChehalisDistribution Center(WA)

Primary Purpose:
Maintaining and repairing equipment, buildings, and fixtures of the distribution center; maintaining lift trucks and keeping them in safe condition.

Essential Functions:

• Models " Customer 1st behavior, delivers and encourages other Associates to delivery legendary Customer Service
• Installs and repairs plumbing
• Maintains electrical systems
• Maintains ventilation system
• Maintains supply of parts for repairs
• Installs, repairs, and replaces racking
• Maintains doors
• Maintains shipping/receiving dock equipment
• Inspects and evaluates roof structure
• Welds, cuts, designs, and repairs aluminum and steel structures and devices
• Builds and/or remodels offices during special carpentry assignments
• Repairs and maintains hydraulic systems, air compressors, fire systems, air compressors, fire systems
• Performs preventative maintenance on LP gas and electric lift trucks
• Repairs electric lift trucks and LP gas lift trucks, as needed
• Repairs other equipment as needed
• Repairs and maintains battery chargers
• Maintains batteries in charged and working condition
• Maintains tuggers, carts, pallet jacks, sweeper, scrubbers and forklift attachments

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
High School diploma or general education degree (GED), plustwo years experience in plumbing, blueprint reading, general building maintenance, hydraulic, and electrial experience; two years in electric or gas forklift repair; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Other Skills Required:

• Minimum 18 years of age (operates machinery, drives a forklift)
• Ability to pass drug test

• Ability and willingness to move with purpose and a strong sense of urgency
