Note: this position is Part time, night shift, 7p-7a
Position Summary: The Registered Nurse utilizes the knowledge bases of nursing education and experience in order to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to the hospitals policies, procedures, and protocols. The RN responds to life-threatening situations with appropriate nursing interventions. The RN organizes patient care delivery by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis.

Job Requirements

Position Qualifications: 1. Ability to meet minimum hospital hiring standards. 2. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. 3. Current RN licensure in the state of Washington. 4. Obtain BLS and NRP certification within 3 months of hire, and maintain as current. 5. Completion of basic and advanced AWHONN EFM within last 2 years or completion within 6 months of hire. 6. Labor and delivery experience preferred. 7. Nursery experience preferred
Essential Job Functions: 1. Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of the nursing process. 2. Assumes responsibility for own clinical competency and professional development. 3. Participates in the responsible management of healthcare resources. 4. Demonstrates the ability manage obstetrical emergencies with proficiency and knowledge. 5. Participates as a contributory member of the interdisciplinary team.
