Job DescriptionJob Description: Tech III CharacterizationThis role includes providing test services to client in a dynamic R&D style test lab. The successful candidate will have verifiable testing experience preferably in a test or production environment. In addition the candidate should have intermediate technical knowledge preferably in computer, computer peripherals or other electronics. Experience in Mechanical, Electrical or Software test is preferred.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Includes, but is not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned. Keep timely records including status reports, progress notes, defect identification etc and provide to all appropriate stakeholders as defined by Lionbridge processes. Ensure quality of work. Ensure accurate execution of tests. Ensure accurate entry of defects in database. Ensure accuracy of data. Follow security and testing procedures to ensure operational excellence. Provide training and support to all personnel as assigned. Required Skills: Advanced Excel and Word Ability to understand and execute complex technical documents. Mechanical, Electrical or Software experieince preferably in computers or computer peripherals. Ability to make decisions and take appropriate action to ensure a safe and appropriate work place. Ability to work with stakeholders both internally and externally across clients organization. Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and partner with project management to design and implement robust solutions.Education required: Associate Degree in Technical Field and 5 ears supervisory experience. Bachelor Degree in Technical Field and 3 years supervisory experience.
