Sales Representative - Inside Sales

We are looking for business-to-business inside sales professionals who are responsible for selling a diversified range of products in our Wire & Cable ( W&C) business. Since 1957, Anixter has offered the most extensive and comprehensive selection of wire and cable products and applications. With more than 50 years of experience and relationships with 2,000 suppliers worldwide, we have the experience and expertise to match the needs of our customers to the latest product offerings.

As part of this inside sales role you will be an active participant in prospecting and developing new accounts, generating sales quotes, and handling customer inquiries to help service customers and grow the business. In addition, you will make cold and warm calls for new market initiatives while becoming technically knowledgeable about our electrical and electronic wire & cable and support products and vendors. You will be highly engaged in new business development.

Requirements:

-Bachelors degree in a related major is preferred
-Previous experience in wire & cable sales is preferred
-Ability to initiate, establish, and nurture business relationships with our customers and vendors.
-Ability to work at a fast-pace and learn products, systems, and sales processes.
