.NET SDET at Seattle

Job Description

Ciber is looking for a talented and motivated .NET SDET to join our team. You will be working with a group of highly skilled individuals for one of our major Government clients. This position is an exciting and unique opportunity to help work with a large, enterprise wide initiative with a reputable client.

 

Our client is replacing their applications with a state-of-the-art integrated solution known as Total Enforcement (TE). TE is a commercial-off-the-shelf .Net 4.0 front end with a SQL Server 2008 back end. They require assistance with data migration and legacy data cleansing validation, interface configuration, document review, template, document and forms creation in the new TE system and development work as needed in the new system. They may also ask for front end assistance or support for the legacy applications.

 

The consultant shall conference call with vendors’ technicians weekly to discuss technical problems, questions and fixes. Weekly status meetings shall be held with the consultant to determine the project’s progress. The consultant shall submit monthly progress reports, including % complete.

 

Task/Service

  • Work with the project team in testing and validating the cleansing process and data.
  • Work with the project team in validating the process and data of the initial and periodic data migration in the test lab and production.
  • Test the technical aspects of the interfaces, and review the vendor’s documentation for thoroughness.
  • Work with the project team and TE vendor on converting the manual forms/documents into online templates, documents or forms that are populated by information already in TE and allowing manual entry of additional information.
  • Work with the project team on other identified development work.

 

Milestones

  • Complete testing and validation of data cleansing.
  • Complete implementation of data cleansing in production.
  • Complete technical testing of interfaces and review vendor’s documentation/instructions for thoroughness.
  • Complete testing and validation of data migration in Test environment.
  • Complete testing and validation of data migration in Production environment.
  • Complete conversion of all identified manual form/documents into online forms/documents/templates.
  • Complete identified development work.

Job Requirements

  • Data migration experience with 10 – 20 GB data collections
  • Expert SQL Server and .Net experience
  • Ability to write T-SQL code and create SQL views and stored procedures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Message broker experience
  • Must be eligible to work for any employer without sponsorship (TN OK)

 

This position requires the successful completion of a background investigation and/or drug screen.
