Manager, Local Store Marketing at Seattle

Job Description

The Role: Manager, Local Store Marketing

Position reports to the Regional VP of Operations with a dotted line reporting to the Quiznos marketing team. The main responsibilities of this position include communications with the Franchisees and the Field (RVPs, RODs and the Franchise Business Consultants) and leading efforts for Local Store Marketing programs in their market.

Responsibilities:

- Franchise Interaction and Communication
  • Responsible for ongoing communications of LSM priorities and programs to Franchise Owners
  • Serve as a key liaison driving LSM activity in their market with the Franchise community
  • Train Franchisees in LSM, support FBC’s with LSM programs and gather feedback from Franchisees on needs and program results
  • Schedule and lead market meetings related to LSM and provides summary notes

 

- Planning and Management of the Local Store Marketing programs

  • Outline and set objectives for market programs based on FBC, FO insights and Corporate strategic LSM initiative
  • Timely execution of programs and initiatives
  • Work with design team at corporate to develop and implement new pieces
  • Plan and manage the LSM market budget working with the RVP and Corporate Marketing Liaison
  • Train LSM culture for new Franchisees and team members in their market
  • Outline and implement best practices from our system and corporate
  • Partner with vendors (Pepsi) for various local LSM programs
  • Manage master grid of all approved and acceptable coupon offers for their market
  • Track results of all coupon drops working with Marketing analyst for their market

 
- Help train and manage the Franchisees and FBCs to utilize the online marketing tool kit - Marcom Zone

  • Increase FO participation with communication and training
  • Track participation of Franchisees and get any results from programs for future improvements

 

- Help Franchisees manage their Grand Opening in a box program and their Grand Opening LSM program

 

- External communication and evaluation of LSM programs aimed at Field (Franchise Business Consultants) and Market Franchisees

  • Communicate what is going on in LSM via conference calls on periodic basis
  • Publish and share best practices in market and with Corporate Marketing Liaison
  • Manage and monitor Field idea sharing forum (LSMQuiznos.com) for their market

 

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Education: College degree required in marketing or related field.
  • Years of Experience: Minimum of two years of marketing experience
  • Skills required: Strong communication and organizational skills needed. Good understanding of marketing and media. A proven history of developing and executing marketing programs recommended. Capable of working with and rallying multiple stakeholders, especially Franchisees around common goals. Knowledge of alternative communications/ marketing/branding mediums a plus. Leadership skills and ability to communicate, train, and support team and others.
  • Computer Proficiencies: Basic Powerpoint, Word and Excel skills.
  • Percentage of Travel: Approximately 75%
