Senior Java Engineer

In this role you will work on the development and design of our products that are showcased via digital entertainment. You will be passionate about creating top notch code and have the flexibility and availability to meet our customers ever changing demands.

Some Key Responsibilities include:

• Implement software design and development methods that provide high-value, high-quality products
• Establishing software development processes and metrics that effectively measure and improve code performance
• Develop and write code for searching and delivering large amounts of data
• Taking ownership of the Enterprise Platform and adding new functionality as required
• Working with SOAP Web Services
• Architect, develop and write code for product solutions using Java, SQL, XML, Spring and scripting languages
• Skills/Requirements/Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree and/or equivalent practical experience
• 10 years of software development (design, code, test)
• 8+ years Java development
• 6+ years PL/SQL development
• Solid knowledge of multi-threaded programming, J2EE and SOAP Web Services
• Solid knowledge and understanding of J2EE, Linux, BASH scripting
• Solid understanding of Oracle database programming
• Experience working with high concurrency systems
• Demonstrated ability to create design document elements from established project requirements
• Must be an outstanding coder, source code organizer, and strong technical mentor
