Information Systems Director - WSRMP We are seeking an Information Systems Director to provide strategic and tactical leadership in the planning and implementation of technology initiatives and long-range plans; and to direct and evaluate the acquisition of network technology and hosting services of the Washington Schools Risk Management Pool. Washington Schools Risk Management Pool (WSRMP) is a cooperative self-insurance program for over 80 school districts and Educational Service Districts in Washington State. Qualifications BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field (AA/AAS degree in related field with progressively responsible job related experience may substitute for BA/BS degree) Experience managing technology operations, services, and projects (including creating and defining technology operating standards and processes consistent with ITIL guidelines, hardware and software implementation, and creating RFP/RFQ/RFI documents) LAN/WAN management in a Windows Server Network Cisco, Microsoft Technical, ITIL or related certification Experience working in a government environment, providing technical training to adult learners, and budget planning and resource management preferred. Experience identifying, articulating, and executing long-range objectives to modernize technology infrastructure a plus. Schedule: FT, year round. Salary: Up to $101,593/year, DOE.
