Avalon Health Care is seeking an experienced Healthcare Office Manager to join our team as an Administrative Services Director!
The general purpose of the Administrative Services Director (ASD) is to provide financial, human resources, administrative, and facility management support and coordination for an Avalon skilled care facility. Working collaboratively with the Administrator, facility Management Team and Avalon’s Shared Services Center, this position ensures the financial, human resources, accounting, and risk management processes at the facility level office are consistent with Avalon’s policy and procedures as well as with good business practice. The ASD Hires, supervises, and evaluates the support staff for the facility.
To be considered, candidates must possess at least five years of related experience including supervision of a team, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and healthcare accounting experience. Experience with Kronos payroll software is preferred.

Job Requirements
- High school graduate or its equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Finance, Human Resources, or Accounting is preferred
- Basic understanding of Human Resources laws including FLSA, FMLA, Workers Compensation, and Unemployment is preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Ability to read and write at a high school level and to follow oral and written directions
- Demonstrable ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Word
- Demonstrable ability and experience relating positively to patients, families and to work cooperatively with other employees.
- Demonstrable reliability and dependability including attendance
- Must meet all local health regulations, and pass post-employment physical exam, if required.
- Pass drug screening, criminal background investigation and reference inquiry.
Experience Required
- Five or more years of related experience including supervision of multiple staff
- Experience using Kronos preferred
- Health care accounting experience
