Robert Half Technology is looking for a Senior SDET for a client located in Seattle. You will be responsible for automating software testing for a large scale cloud based service.As a Software Developer in Test you are given the challenge of building large scale automated test solutions for one of a number ofCloud Products. Youwill be working side-by-side with Software Developers and other SDETs testing web applications and ensuring they live up to our standards. Passion for software and passion for testing is a must.Responsibilities:Lead test automation efforts for all products including selection, design and implementation of test frameworks and toolsPromote, solicit and instruct others on good quality and coding practices and standards through mentoring and group presentationsRepresent QE in discussions with development and product groupsWrite smoke, functional, integration, load and regression automated tests against web services APIs (REST)Collaborate with the engineering team to fully test the entire product offering, integration points or user interfacesCollaborate with development engineers to build, evolve and maintain a scalable continuous build and deployment pipelineUse Quality and Testing experience to identify test gaps and opportunities to expand our test case coverage

Job Requirements

MUST HAVE:6+ years of QE particularly in Test Automation and Test Automation frameworksLeadership experience with a focus on QA Processes and MethodologiesPrevious experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous DeploymentPractical experience with voice communication VoIP protocols including: SIP, RTP, and RTCPPractical experience using TCPDUMP and Wireshark to diagnose SIP protocol issues.Practical experience with Linux (Ubuntu/Debian preferred,) including shell scriptingExperience with Object Oriented programming including multiple languages such as: Java, Ruby, Python, C, C++, PHP, JavaScript or PerlDemonstrated advanced knowledge of web protocols, networking and systemsExperience with performance and load testing including multiple tools and environmentsNICE TO HAVE:Practical experience with OSX, IOS, and Android operating systems.Experience with geographically dispersed teams.Experience working within an Scrum Agile development process.Experience with FreeSWITCH and/or OpenSIPSUnderstanding of XML, XSD, JSON, WADL, WSDL, REST and SOAP with demonstrated experience using web services APIs.Basic knowledge of UI automation tools such as Selenium, QTP, or SilkBasic knowledge of open source tools such as curl, JMeter, ApacheBenchKnowledge of Cloud Computing concepts
