JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for the training and orientation program for medical assistant, LPN and RN staff on clinical and technical processes and procedures. Provides support to medical staff by creating, teaching, maintaining and updating clinical workflow and technical training programs. Provides leadership to MA staff by maintaining and updating the PacMed Certified MA Training Program. Assists with performance management for medical assistant staff. Assesses MA staff competencies and develops individual training plans as needed for performance improvement.
Develops and implements strategies to support quality initiatives and process improvement. Works with IT, the training department and clinic administration to implement new programs in coordination with ancillary and clinical services throughout the clinic system to include upgrades and/or implementation of new systems. Responsible for development and the implementation of new training programs to support corporate and clinic initiatives. Participates in, and may lead pilot and workflow redesign projects/programs.
May provide direct assistance to the nursing and medical staff in administering direct hands-on patient care under the supervision of a physician or a member of clinic management.
Job Requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
- Registered Nurse, licensed in the State of Washington
- 5+ years of clinical experience.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- 1+ years experience in teaching or staff development preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Programs including MS Word, Excel, Power Point etc.

- Demonstrated ability to source and/or develop training program curriculum.
- Ability to instruct in a classroom and clinic environment.
- Knowledge of PMCs Flowcast and EPIC systems preferred.
- Highly organized.
