QA Tester at Seattle

Job Description

Ideal candidate will have:

• Background with Web and/or Mainframe Testing and demonstrated hands-on experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance
• Sound Testing knowledge and complete understanding of the testing lifecycle
• Solid experience in manual and automation testing
• Excellent communication, documentation, and coaching skills
• Good aptitude, reasoning and interpersonal skills
• Well versed with mainframe based testing, tools and techniques

Job Requirements

A combination of experience with some of the following skills is requested:

• Migration from Legacy Mainframe to .net environment or SQL Server
• Team Foundation Server TFS
• VSTS
• Visual Studio 2010 and 2012
• C#
• Experience with coded UI testing
• Experience with web performance test
• Experience working with .net framework
• Strong understanding of QA methodology and SDLC QA Methodology
• Cobol 
• Previous experience working with city, state or other local government systems or projects 

This position requires the successful completion of a background investigation and/or drug screen.
