Client: This firm is an industry leader and well known in the Pacific Northwest. They have annual revenues of between $130M and $150M annually. They have received excellent reviews and have been ranked as one of the best places to work in Washington. They have grown their business very rapidly due to repeat clients and a commitment to excellent work. They have been in business for 30+ years. One of their most profitable divisions has been their small projects division where they focus on projects under $400K. They have several projects going on at one time and the division is very busy. The ability to work with local clients and build strong relationships has developed a strong client base and a very profitable division. They are looking to continue to grow this division and are looking for a Project Manager, Superintendent and two Project Engineers. They are looking for top-notch candidates that can hit the ground running and have interest in operating very independently and want to build their own businesses within the firm. Their teams are very energetic, motivated and independent. Candidates will run the majority of their work from preconstruction to closeout. They have built their reputation on being very efficient and finding cost effective solutions to smaller projects. Our Client’s focus consists of retail/TI, healthcare, community and state/local projects. They are a mid-size firm, but have a great work environment and an entrepreneurial culture.
Position: Project Manager, Superintendent and two Project Engineers are needed for a growing special projects division. The successful candidate will have interest in taking over a small client base and building a profitable base with the rest of the team. A successful candidate will have the ability to manage several projects at once, work and manage sub-contractors, manage self-performed work, and a focus on maximizing revenues from each project. Experience in preconstruction, estimating and scheduling will be an asset to this position. Candidates must have the ability to direct and have strong leadership skills in order to direct multiple projects.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Two or Four Year College Degree in Construction Management/Engineering field preferred.
Experience working with clients on several smaller projects or desire to work with these projects.
Team Player with strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit.
Skill in managing multiple projects with precision , speed and efficiency.
Sound economic-thinking, analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to make sound, informed decisions.
Able to establish and maintain positive and profitable internal and external customer relations and service.
Compensation:
$80,000 - $125,000 (DOE) salary + bonus incentive plan.
Monthly car allowance and company gas card.
