Capital One ShareBuilder 401(k) is an RIA designed to make retirement plans easy and affordable for everyone. The company provides an all Exchange Traded Fund 401(k) platform and serves as an ERISA 3(38) investment manager on every one of its plans, helping employers to lower costs and reassign risk. Summary:
The Account Manager II role will be responsible for retirement plan retention and education for high value plans across the United States. This individual will be interacting with clients with a primary focus on business retention and new business roll outs.
The Senior AM acts as a trusted business advisor to ShareBuilder 401k clients, providing superior support services aligned to the clients priorities in order to drive loyalty and maximize the business value of their investment.
Management and support of these activities requires diligent leadership, as the Senior AM will be a champion and driving force of the consumer and client experience - responsible for the retention and redesign of client plans.
Responsibilities:
-Retention: Quarterly / bi-annual reviews with $500K+ clients (often face-to-face for $1M+ expect to travel frequently; 20-30+ weeks per year)
-Sales: Assist outside sales team on larger opportunities to sell services provided
-New customer rollout: employee education and IRA roll-in capture
This person will likely need to input / create the materials for reviews and potentially other areas beyond what we have already.
-Manage client base and conduct annual plan review meetings while meeting retention quotas. Requirements for success include:
-High level of outbound calls to generate face-to-face and web-based meetings each week.
-Provide accurate customer reports, showcasing clients at risk, as well as opportunities for enhancements in our service offering.
-Conduct new employee meetings through V/C or in person for large growing plans.
-Work in tandem with the marketing team to develop new materials for utilization amongst the sales and service teams.
-Test new concepts to develop and share best practices across the organization for retention strategies.
-Manage new client setup rollout 401(k) participate training and maintain on-going account check-ups with plan sponsors and participants.
-Help support and build new adjunct geographies in coordination with the Sharebuilder 401K Sales Team Lead to grow the business.
-Requirements for success include:
-Strong relationship building skills, professional acumen, dynamic presentation skills, persistence and drive to retain clients.
-Quickly develop and/or possess strong understanding of 401(k) plans, Profit Sharing Plans and Defined Benefit and Contribution Plans.
-Gain and maintain strong familiarity with Third Party Administrators, Dept of Labor regulations, ERISA and IRS codes pertaining to retirement plans, compliance issues and legislative acts.
-Learn and maintain strong understanding of ShareBuilder 401Ks product offering and its competitive advantages relative to competing solutions.
-Maintain ShareBuilder 401k auto-pricing program for customers.
-Gather and communicate critical prospect and customer feedback to leadership team for product, marketing, sales and customer success needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- At least a High School Diploma, GED, Equivalent Certification or military experience
Preferred Qualifications:
-Bachelors Degree or military experience
-NASD Series 7 & 66 (or 65) licenses
-5+ years demonstrated Sales and Service experience with a track record as a top producer.
-Excellent customer service, sales, communication and organizational skills. Familiarity with online marketing, Web 2.0 and online commerce a plus.
-Excellent presentation skills, with advanced knowledge of PowerPoint, web conferencing and Excel.
-Should be obsessed with results and measuring and improving performance.
-Superior face-to-face and web-based consultative prospect and customer skills (SPIN, Solution Selling, etc.)
-Extensive experience cold calling directly and selling to small/medium-size businesses.
-Experience with Salesforce.com a plus.
-Proven team interaction skills including demonstrated success training, leading and motivating colleagues.
-Ability to travel extensively with tremendous flexibility to non-standard hours to support client relationship management.
