Senior Java Developer at Seattle

Kforce is looking for Senior Java Developers for several clients in the Seattle, WA area. The Sr. Java Developer creates and supports Web-based Java applications, Web Services, and Web interfaces.

Other Responsibilities include:

• Server-side component design, detailed technical design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance


• Reviewing and understanding business requirements working with cross-functional teams


• Developing and enhancing product offerings in accordance with design and consistent with business objectives


• Ensuring that development tasks are completed within the timeline provided and that issues are fully tested with minimal defects

The successful applicant will possess the following requirements (required unless noted otherwise):

• Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering or Math


• 4+ years of experience working in the IT field


• Strong Java or J2EE skills


• Proficient knowledge of Object-Oriented Design, web services, and Rest, SOAP or API
