Security Systems Monitor at Redmond

Do you enjoy working with sensitive and confidential information? We are looking for a Security System Monitor for our Global Operations Center on the Microsoft campus. Our System Monitor position is responsible for monitoring, processing,and responding to escalated signals received in the Global Security Operations Center from Microsoft locations across the United States. The Security System Monitor will assist with employee badge tracing and verification as well.

Responsibilities:

Asses the validity of all systems signals and alarms on a continuous basis. Escalate and/or dispatch resources per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

Collect and analyze signal metrics to provide reports to Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Manager.

Conduct employee badge tracing, verification, and identification. Assist with building lock downs.

Monitor CCTV and review DVR footage. Monitor static cameras of high security areas. Control surveillance cameras during security events.

Provide administrative support during shift changeover and systems pass downs. Coordinate and provide breaks for GSOC team members.

 Requirements

Experience/Education:

• Bachelors or Associates degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in a security, military, law enforcement or emergency services position preferred.
  
• The ideal candidate will have 1+ year of experience working in a call center, control room, dispatch center, etc., or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.
• The ideal candidate will have 1+ year of experience working in a customer service related field.
