The Configuration Specialist role supports ADP Learning Connect - focusing primarily on the Learning Management System, Social and Mobile Learning modules.
This position creates and manages auto-enrollments for all organizations / security groups in ADP Learning Connect.
This role is responsible for configuring channel pages and modules per project requirements, testing configurations and populating channels with seed content.
AutoEnrollment Setup
- Create and manage AutoEnrollment "rules". Ex: Drive 2.0 is released. A curriculum for Service Advisors is created and includes ServiceEdge. A rule needs to be created that any Service Advisor with Drive 1.0 and ServiceEdge is assigned the curriculum upon user creation
- Configure AutoEnrollments at appropriate organization levels for catalogs and curriculums
- Assign, test and verify the user / member metadata is valid based on project requirements
- Test and troubleshoot enrollment rules when incorrect content is assigned
Implement Client Workspaces
- Create and administer client workspaces for client implementation projects or internal projects as
needed - Configure Modules, Portal Pages and Channels
Based on project requirements, configure modules, portal pages and channels - Work with Internal and External Clients to test configurations as needed
- Channels (collections of Portal Pages) will determine:
Controlling visible content by product (i.e., ADP Drive vs. Lightspeed) - Controlling visible content by language
- Decide when new Channels are necessary
LMS Setup / Maintenance
- Populate LMS with seed content; including documents, frequently asked questions, etc
- Setup and manage subject matter taxonomy for all content and members within LMS
- Manage Security Groups
- Manage security and permissions for LMS access for internal (ADP associate) and external (client) users
- Decide appropriate security for users
Member Management
- Create user import spreadsheet by organization for implementation and upgrades
- Manage Organization statuses
- Manage custom field data for members
- Organization Management
- Use organization setups to set up dealerships, dealer groups, and dealer regions (i.e., AutoNation)
- Other duties as needed
This position can be located in: Atlanta, GA; Bedford, TX; Hoffman Estates, IL; Portland, OR; Seattle, WA
- High level of accountability for accuracy of metadata and user assignment
- Analyze information and evaluate results to choose the most accurate solution based on desired outcomes.
- The ability to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules. EX: troubleshooting database connections in channel modules.
- Required to prioritize workload to meet project requirements. The Configuration Specialist will be working with many internal business units and many deliverables. This role may also interact with external clients to clarify requirements
- Flexibility with regard to changes in project requirements and shifting priorities
- Ability to work effectively as a team member
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Web development, database management understanding. Knowledge of LMS environments (KeneXa / Outstart experience is a plus)
- HTML / CSS experience
- Project Management experience
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
