Our Lewis County client has an immediate need for an experienced, but hamds-on interim Controller, which could become a permanent position if the fit is right. Will prepare financial statements and reports; communicating results to the management team and participating in the strategic planning for the company. Responsible for policies and procedures, audit, corporate accounting and finance, budgeting and forecasting and financial analysis. Also responsible for cash management and cost control; performing analysis of budget variances and initiating corrective actions. Will perform audits, manage the external audit and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements. Extensive knowledge in GAAP mandatory. Experience with MAS 90 or other Sage products required. Three to five years of health care accounting preferred.
