Aerotek is looking to hire a full-time Program Manager for a manufacturing company located inside Yakima, WA.
Objective
The Program Manager is responsible to oversee and facilitate the execution of new programs occurring at the assigned location. Utilizing exemplary leadership skills and commonly used program management tools, the Program Manager will guarantee the success of new programs by performing the following duties:
-Work with the Sales management team to establish the preferred outcome and priority of new programs and projects
-Develop plans, workflows, timelines, charts etc. to effectively communicate and assign roles and responsibilities to project team members
-Assure that all functional teams are prepared and able to execute the new project goals
-Oversee the execution of these plans and effectively manage conflicts and delays through the use of countermeasures.
-Prepare and communicate status reports to customers.
-Guarantee timely and accurate response to customer requests
-Facilitate the communication of information between commercial and operations teams
-Provide frequent status reports to the sales managers and other internal stakeholders detailing current status of new projects and open issues
-Take advantage of the Program Managers unique relationship with the customers to aid the Sales team in identifying new opportunities
-Other related duties as assigned by the Sales Department
Key Skills and Qualifications
The Program Management role is new to out client and a successful candidate must be willing and able to help build and establish the role within the organization. In addition, this individual should have the following skills and qualifications
-Exemplary leadership and communication skills
-Desire to work in a fast paced environment
-Motivation to oversee team success and continuously improve the Program Management process
-Acute attention to detail and the ability to clearly and effectively communicate with multi-disciplinary teams
-Strong technical aptitude and a willingness to become a functional expert about Companys products and capabilities
-Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business or other related field. Experience or education in manufacturing and/or plastics a plus.
-Familiarity with program management tools (Gantt Charts, Work Flow Diagrams, etc.)
-Strong familiarity with MS office products and ERP/MRP database systems
