Pioneer Center North (PCN) is a 141-bed facility in Northwestern Washington providing semi-secure, long-term residential treatment for chronic chemically dependent individuals. The average PCN resident is 35-39 years of age, and unemployed, with a history of misdemeanor arrests and numerous prior treatment failures. To meet the needs of this population, PCN provides a comprehensive range of services geared to treatment-resistant individuals over a longer treatment period of time.

GENERAL SUMMARY
The Residential Treatment Specialist is responsible of; ensuring the health and safety of clients in residence by monitoring vital signs and managing behavior; Providing physical care, social, moral, and spiritual guidance; Suggesting and recommending changes in program, policy and procedure; Providing high quality services under the least restrictive conditions feasible.
- High School diploma or equivalent and one year acceptable experience in the human services field preferred
- Valid Washington State drivers license, preferred
- Course work, experience, or training in human development, chemical dependency, mental health, group dynamics, and/or residential treatment
- Or related disciplines desirable
